I know quite a few Californians who would faint at the site of salt on a vehicle like that . I remember I was at the beach and I put a damp towel on the hood my car, and my buddy freaked because the re was a drizzle of salt water on the towel!
Though I can see know why cars on non-salt roaded climates can live for decades without a sign of rust.
